Theater In Park City
The culture of Park City is more profound then most might think. Live theatrical performances have long been a centerpiece of Park City culture, even in the rough and tumble days of active mining.
Towards the end of the 1800’s, funs were raised to build an ornate Opera House to support touring companies. Determined to enrich the culture of teh mining community, the Dewey Theatre opened its doors on the site of what is now the Egyptian Theatre.
My wife and I have had many enjoyable moments at the Egyptian. It’s a great little detour to an out-door vacation!
