Park City Ski Resorts

There are three main Park City ski resorts—Deer Valley, Park City Mountain and The Canyons. All three Park City ski resorts draw thousands of snow lovers every ski season, and each resort has its own distinct feel.

Features of the Main Park City Ski Resorts

Park City Mountain Resort is located in Salt Lake County, and like Park City’s other resorts, is often ranked as one of the best ski areas in the entire world. The 2002 Winter Olympics took place at this fine resort, and it is the main headquarters for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. Residents and visitors at this resort enjoy the incredible ski conditions, a bustling nightlife and extensive outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking.

Deer Valley Resort is just a few minutes away from Park City Mountain Resort; however, it offers residents and visitors a more secluded skiing experience. The resort puts a tight limit on the number of skiers allowed on its slopes which prevents overcrowding and long lift lines.

The Canyons Resort offers skiers the most terrain with 3,700 acres of skiable land, making it one of the largest ski resorts in the United States. The Canyons buildings are all relatively new, so you’re ensured that your accommodations choices are contemporary and quite nice. The resort features its own restaurants, shops, ice-skating rinks, concert venues and spas, making it really a self-contained destination spot.
