The Canyons Resort’s Terrain Parks
The Canyons Resort’s terrain parks are pretty spectacular. Designed by Steve Duke who is also the manager of both parks, The Canyons Resort’s terrain parks contain features that are appropriate for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, from beginner to expert.
Features at The Canyons Resort’s Terrain Parks
There are two terrain parks at The Canyons Resort—Progression Park and Respect Park. Progression Park is intended for beginners to intermediates so it’s just right for those who are venturing into the tricks’ realm and those who are looking to perfect their skills before advancing to the expert park. Progression Park allows for some pretty killer moves with its five jumps, five manny pads, C-box, rainbow box and two quarter-pipes.
More advanced riders can enjoy Respect Park which is divided into two sections—Upper and Lower. Upper Respect is one skill level up from Progression Park, designed for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders. It’s really a rail garden with 14 rails and two jumps. Lower Respect is the most intense of The Canyons Resort’s terrain parks; it features a bevy of street rails and jumps for expert riders.
